Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus)

Who sees me before I see them?
Then without a sound, flies away.

Off to find a perch away from prying eyes.
Length 22'  Wingspan 44"  Weight 3.1 lb
Year long resident all across the North American Continent

    Yup! I've yet to get a picture of one of these. A silent shadow flying away before I even get my little camera up. Oh well.
